Job: Site Supervisor
Location: Leeds and West Yorkshire sites.
Rate: £400
IR35 determination: Inside of IR35 PAYE
Contract Length: Ongoing
The Role:
Randstad are working with a very dear and longstanding client of ours who are looking to secure the services of a qualified Site Civil Engineer for some upcoming roads and Highways work in the Leeds area. The work will be on some City Centre flagship upgrade schemes due to start imminently. The contract longevity is expected to be a 6 - 12 month contract term.
Job Description:
Oversee daily operations of internal resources and subcontractors.
Ensure project alignment with contract drawings, specifications, and the Project Management Plan.
Manage site dimensional control to provide contractors with the resources needed for proper work setup.
Produce and review construction methods statements to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
Foster a safe and productive work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- SSSTS ticket Essential
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent desirable
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the Highways Industry.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and design tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented project management approach.
