Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Overseeing the general maintenance, security, and upkeep of the school site, including classrooms, playgrounds, and other school facilities.
- Health & Safety: Ensuring that all safety standards are met, conducting regular inspections, and being proactive in identifying potential risks.
- Team Collaboration: Working alongside school staff to ensure all areas are prepared and maintained for various school activities and events.
- Handyman Skills: Carrying out minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
What we are looking for:
- Experience & Skills: Previous experience in site management, facilities maintenance, or a similar hands-on role is highly desirable, but we're also keen to support individuals who are eager to learn.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for identifying issues and ensuring that all areas are in top condition for students and staff.
- Communication: Ability to work well with a range of people, from students and staff to external contractors.
- Proactive & Problem Solving: Capable of managing tasks independently and resolving challenges as they arise.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
