Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Children and Families Social Worker to join our Social Work Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and young people while advancing your career within a supportive and professional setting.
The Role
As a Social Worker working within Child Protection, you will:
- Work directly with children, young people, and families to assess needs, manage risk, and develop effective plans to ensure safety and well-being.
- Undertake Child Protection investigations and participate in multi-agency planning and reviews.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families to deliver tailored, impactful interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to safeguard and support vulnerable children.
- Prepare high-quality reports for Child Protection Conferences, court proceedings, and statutory reviews.
Qualifications and registrations:
- Qualified Social Worker
- SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
