Job Description:
Are you a passionate and skilled social worker with a strong commitment to supporting children in care and care leavers?
In this role, you will work with children and young adults, providing them with the care, support, and guidance they need as they transition from care into independent living.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of children in care and care leavers, ensuring they receive high-quality support and services.
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks of children and young people in care.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote stability, independence, and well-being.
- Providing advocacy and support for children and care leavers, helping them access necessary resources and services.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care and care leavers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, care plans, and interventions in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, particularly with children in care or care leavers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children's social care
