Job Description:
Are you a skilled and committed social worker with a passion for making a difference from the very first point of contact?
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, responding to referrals, and taking immediate action to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families in crisis.
Responsibilities:
- Responding promptly and effectively to initial referrals and safeguarding concerns.
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify risks, needs, and strengths of children and families.
- Developing and implementing safety plans and care plans that address immediate and long-term needs.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in all aspects of your work.
- Providing support, guidance, and advocacy for children and families in challenging situations.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, particularly within an initial response or assessment team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children's social care and safeguarding.
