About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join Wrexham's Court Team on an agency basis. This role involves working with children and families to ensure the best possible outcomes through legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in court work, child protection, and care proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children subject to legal proceedings, including care and supervision orders.
• Prepare high-quality court reports, assessments, and statements within required timescales.
• Attend and give evidence in family court hearings as needed.
• Work collaboratively with families, legal professionals, guardians, and other key agencies.
• Ensure all work complies with legislative requirements, policies, and best practices.
• Participate in legal planning meetings, case conferences, and child protection reviews.
• Support and implement care plans that promote the safety and well-being of children.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Social Work Wales registration
