We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join a thriving School based in Newmarket.
As the SENCO, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the provision of support for students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies. You will be instrumental in developing tailored learning plans and ensuring the successful inclusion of all students within the school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the school's SEN policy.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and support of students with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure the effective differentiation of teaching methods.
- Coordinate with external agencies to provide additional support where needed.
- Monitor and track the progress of students with SEND.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on SEN best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and report to senior leadership.
Requirements :
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a SENCO qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- DBS (or the willingness to apply)
- Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of current SEN legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the success of every student.
