No prior experience in special needs education is needed-just your enthusiasm and commitment to supporting students!
What You'll Do:
As an SEN LSA, you'll be a key member of our team, providing direct support to students with special educational needs. You'll be working closely with students to ensure they feel encouraged, understood, and empowered in the classroom.
Main Responsibilities:
- One-on-One and Small Group Support: Work with students individually or in small groups to support their learning and encourage their confidence.
- Assist with Learning Activities: Help students engage with lesson plans and provide clarity on tasks, promoting their academic growth.
- Behavioural Support: Create a positive and respectful learning environment, encouraging students to engage in positive behaviours.
- Communication with Staff and Parents: Provide regular updates on student progress to teachers and parents, fostering a team approach to each student's success.
- Encourage Independence: Guide students to develop skills that foster independence, self-confidence, and resilience.
What You Bring:
