A talented SEN Teaching Assistant with experience is needed to join an outstanding team at a school. As an SEN teaching assistant, you will use a creative approach to help students in accordance with their educational needs, ensuring the school curriculum is delivered in a way that maximises children achievement and capacity to grow.
For people who want to focus less on administrative tasks and more on developing engaging learning opportunities for children with complex learning needs, this is an excellent opportunity. In this role, you will be required to cultivate warm, caring, and supportive relationships with pupils, ensuring they feel safe and are able to enjoy and learn during their time at the school. Applicants should be dynamic, resilient, and adaptable in their approach to learning. This is a full-time position, and candidates must be available Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Duties:
- Implement educational strategies appropriate for each child's learning goals
- Develop a trusting relationship with each child, communicating in ways they can understand
- Promote diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, ensuring all children have equal access to learning and growth
- Encourage children involvement and ensure their attention during lessons
- Provide opportunities for developing independence
- Offer feedback to children, parents, and caregivers about development, accomplishments, and potential issues as directed by the teaching team
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- A drive to inspire the next generation
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to get a new one)
