Do you have experience working with students in higher education with learning disabilities?

Randstad Student Support is seeking Specialist Mentors to assist students with disabilities or mental health conditions who are studying at universities and colleges in Dundee.

Role and responsibilities:

Randstad specialist mentor role starts at the start of the new academic year starting from the 1st September 2024. You will be a trusted advisor for students throughout their academic year by helping students to reflect on their experience and build their confidence through their time at University.

Throughout your role you will be 1-2-1 mentoring your given student and helping them with what is required of them in their academic year. This will include:

Listening to your students and getting them through their stress, low mood and anxiety levels.
Giving them the confidence to learn independently
Develop skills that includes organisational skills and time management
Give them new experienced opportunities that will develop them for future roles.

Benefits:
