Are you a skilled Speech and Language Therapist looking to work in a specialist school?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SaLT to support students with Autism (ASC), SEMH, and communication challenges in an engaging school environment.
Your Role Will Include:
- Conducting detailed speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to develop tailored therapy plans.
- Supporting students with social communication difficulties in a structured setting.
- Delivering 1:1 therapy and small group interventions.
- Providing training sessions for school staff on effective communication strategies.
Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience working with children with Autism, SLCN, and complex needs.
- Strong skills in assessments, therapy planning, and collaboration.
- Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, and AAC devices is beneficial.
