• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - Conducting regular inspections and servicing of depot assets to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
• Reactive Maintenance & Repairs - Responding to breakdowns and faults, diagnosing issues, and completing both first-fix and permanent repairs to a high standard.
• Electrical & Mechanical Work - Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• General Facilities Maintenance - Carrying out minor plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance where required.
• Working at Height & in Confined Spaces - Completing repairs and inspections in hard-to-reach areas using the appropriate safety equipment.
• Lone & Team Working - Operating independently and as part of a team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
• On-Call Duties- Covering emergency breakdowns ensuring the site remains operational outside of standard hours.
• Health & Safety Compliance - Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and site procedures.

​Requirements:

• Must have a relevant Electrical or Mechanical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical)
• 18th Edition
• Testing and inspection
• Previous experience working in large distribution centres
• Physically fit due to the varied and demanding nature of the role.
• A hands-on, multi-skilled professional who can adapt to all types of maintenance work.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
