We are looking for an experienced and reliable steel fixer to join our team on a National Grid project in Middlesbrough. You'll be playing a key role in the construction of a large concrete base, with the opportunity for further work installing concrete slabs in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out and fabricating steel reinforcement structures according to provided drawings and specifications.
- Using hand and power tools to cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a steel fixer.
- A strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- National Grid Persons.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid CSCS card.
