We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Street Cleansing Operative to join our team on a temporary contract, starting on 26th January 2025 and continuing on an ongoing basis.

Hourly Rate: £12.18 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm)
Start date: 26/01/2025
End date: Ongoing
Contract: Temporary Contract
Locations: Cillefwr Depot - Johnstown, Carmarthen SA31 3QZ
Key Responsibilities:
- Street Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of public streets, pavements, and other public spaces, including sweeping, litter picking, and removing graffiti.
- Waste Collection: Collect and dispose of waste from bins, litter bins, and public areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate street cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including sweeping machines and litter pickers.
- Safety Awareness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
Essential Requirements:
- UK Driving License Must to Have
- To undertake continuous CPC training as required
- Working in front-line environmental services
- Operation of mechanical power equipment
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
