Sub Agent - Major Infrastructure Project - Somerset
Randstad are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project in Somerset, focusing on marine works. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a critical project within a leading construction company.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Agent in overseeing all aspects of the marine works on the project, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Manage and supervise a team of site staff, including engineers, technicians, and operatives.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the marine works.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, particularly those related to marine environments.
- Identify and manage potential risks and issues related to the marine works, proposing solutions and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and safety records.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sub Agent or in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on marine works.
* A thorough understanding of construction methods and processes related to marine environments.
* Experience working on complex infrastructure projects involving marine works.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience working with Balfour Beatty or other leading construction companies.
* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards for marine construction.
* Experience with project management software.
