At Randstad, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 teacher who is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. You will be working with our best schools from Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 Am till 3:30 PM in the Leeds area.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS2.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to support different learning needs, including SEN students.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to work in the UK without any restrictions (NO SPONSORSHIP)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom where all students can thrive.
- Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupils' progress and well-being.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods, including technology, to enhance learning experiences.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
