Randstad Education is actively seeking dedicated Cover Teachers to join our team of committed supply staff in Crawley and across Sussex. Our mission is to connect with partner schools every day, providing short- and long-term cover as well as support for permanent positions. We are currently expanding our team and are eager to welcome new members who are available after Easter or at any time during the academic year.

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning by stepping in for absent teachers and facilitating lessons across various key stages. Whether you're interested in flexible supply work or seeking a long-term contract leading to a permanent position, we have opportunities tailored to your preferences.

We are specifically looking for individuals with a proven track record of working effectively with young people. Whether you have experience in a specialised subject area or are comfortable providing general cover, we want to hear from you. Successful applicants will be dynamic educators capable of creating engaging and inspiring learning environments that promote student success.

Key Requirements:

Recent experience working with young people.
Availability for work at least 2 days a week.
Residency in the West Sussex area with willingness to travel to and work in schools across the region.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or willingness to apply for one.

Please note that candidates without a DBS on the update service must be willing to apply for a valid DBS check.
