Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and attentive support to adults with physical and learning disabilities.
- Mobility support and movement
- Assist individuals with tasks such as personal care, feeding, hydration and therapeutic activities
- Engage with service users with complex needs including non verbal & challenging behaviors
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment conducive to the well-being & engagement
- Engage in effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
- Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
Requirements:
- Valid NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) registration.
- Enhanced Access NI (Northern Ireland) clearance.
- Proof of immunizations, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella).
- Minimum 12 months previous experience as a support worker or healthcare worker within a suitable Care or Community setting
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for an immediate start and commitment to a three-month contract.
