Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Support: Provide consistent, compassionate care to children and young people, ensuring their safety, emotional well-being, and development.
- Managing Behaviours: Work with children who may exhibit challenging behaviours, verbal or physical aggression, or require additional emotional support.
- Safeguarding & Risk Management: Maintain a safe, structured environment and proactively address safeguarding concerns.
- Encouraging Independence: Support young people in daily routines, school engagement, activities, and developing life skills.
- Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
- Accurate Record-Keeping: Ensure all documentation and reports are up to date and compliant with regulations.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs, learning disabilities, or challenging behaviours.
- Qualifications: Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential).
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to the nature of the roles.
- Clearances: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and Social Care Wales registration (or equivalent).
