Support Worker (Specialist Service)
Location: Britton Ferry, Aberavon, Cwmavon, Cwmafan
Pay/Salary: £12.83 per hour - £13.01 per hour DOE and qualifications, with additional pay for sleep-in shifts (£65.68) and waking nights (time and a third)
Shifts: Accommodate part time (16 hours) or full time hours (37.5), but would need to work shifts on a rota basis to include weekends.

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team providing continuous and consistent support to individuals with complex needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing physical, practical, and emotional support
- Promoting equality and anti-discriminatory practices
- Assisting with daily living activities, household tasks, and personal care
- Supporting individuals to integrate into their local community
- Implementing and following Positive Behavioural Support Plans
- Maintaining effective working relationships with parents, carers, and advocates
- We need staff who can work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, waking nights, and sleep-in duties.
What You Will Need
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Commitment to achieving relevant qualifications (BTEC Positive Behaviour Support, Care qualifications)
- Desire and ambition to work in the Care Sector
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Desirable: Registration with Social Care Wales as a Domiciliary Care Worker

- Sickness pay: 8 weeks full, 4 weeks half, followed by SSP
- 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day per year up to 7 years
