Randstad Education is proud to collaborate with a two-form entry primary school in Knowsley, seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 student with diverse learning and behavior needs. This term-time role is a unique chance to positively impact a student's life as they prepare for their transition to secondary school-and could even lead to a permanent position!
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide personalized support to a Year 6 pupil with additional learning needs.
- Assist in delivering lessons and activities aligned with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Support behavior management while fostering positive interactions.
- Build strong relationships with the pupil, parents, and school staff.
- Monitor the pupil's progress and provide regular feedback to teachers.

- Excels in communication and time management.
- Has experience working with children with additional needs.
- Is available to start immediately and can commit to the role.
