About the Role:
As a part-time Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging art lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels. You will play a crucial role in developing students' creativity, artistic skills, and appreciation for different art forms. - Contract: Part- time role (Monday - Thursday)
- Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Knowledge of GCSE Art specifications.

- Strong subject knowledge in Art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students.
- Proficiency in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
- Knowledge of current educational practices and safeguarding policies.
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Art to ks3 and ks4 students.
- Develop and implement engaging schemes of work.
- Inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.
- Encourage students to develop technical skills in a variety of art forms.
- Support students in developing confidence and self-expression through art.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Promote extracurricular art activities and clubs.
- Uphold the school's policies on behaviour, safety, and inclusion.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in events and initiatives.
