We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join a thriving secondary school in Harrogate. This part-time position focuses primarily on teaching Key Stage 3 students, with a small number of Key Stage 4 lessons.

Pay Scale: £150 - £223 (UPS rates will be considered)
Essential Requirements:
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A track record of improving student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Computer Science and achieve their academic potential.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on students' progress.
- Develop and implement effective schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Computer Science curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring high standards of attainment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, sharing best practices and resources.
- Engage in professional development to keep up with emerging trends in technology and education.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
