About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our secondary school in Bradford. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Contract: Long term full time position
Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates considered)
Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An understanding of the national curriculum for languages
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in students.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help students meet and exceed their targets.
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages every student to thrive.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support student success.
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and plan next steps.
- Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of all students.
- Set and mark homework, providing timely and effective feedback.
