About the Role
As a Teacher of English, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to KS3 and KS4 students. Your responsibilities will be to inspire, challenge, and support students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel in English. This is a full-time position starting in March and continuing until Easter, offering a competitive daily pay rate and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates considered)
Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in students.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help students meet and exceed their targets.
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages every student to thrive.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support student success.
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and plan next steps.
- Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of all students.
- Set and mark homework, providing timely and effective feedback.
