- Salary Range: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

- Willingness to support extracurricular activities such as reading clubs or theatre trips

- Creative lesson planning with a flair for making literature and language come alive
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Adapt teaching strategies to support and challenge learners of all abilities
- Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature exams
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback
- Contribute to curriculum design and departmental initiatives
- Foster a classroom culture of respect, curiosity, and academic excellence
- Participate in CPD, department meetings, school events, and enrichment activities
