About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teacher of Geography to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3, ensuring students develop both knowledge and analytical skills. Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- Excellent subject knowledge in Geography.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A creative approach to lesson planning and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student's work in line with the curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and evaluate student's progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Promote an understanding of environmental issues and global responsibility.
- Organise and supervise field trips and extra-curricular activities where required.
- Ensure all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
- Support students in developing skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and research.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and training sessions.
