About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bradford. You will be teaching students across KS3 and KS4, ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential in Maths. This full-time position starts immediately and runs until Easter, offering the chance to work in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam specifications.

Skills

Excellent subject knowledge.
Ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practices.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess inspiring Maths lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and progress.
Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to drive improvement.
Support students in preparing for GCSE exams, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Participating in extracurricular activities and events.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
Uphold the school's safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare of all students.
