About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our secondary school in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education, fostering students' musical abilities, and contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.

Contract: Full time
Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates considered)
Essential Requirements:
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong knowledge of musical theory, history, and performance techniques.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teach a range of musical disciplines, including performance, composition, and music theory.
- Develop students' musical skills and appreciation across a variety of genres.
- Assess, track, and report student progress in line with school policies.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments in Music GCSE and A-Level.
- Organise and direct school choirs, orchestras, and ensembles.
- Lead and support extracurricular music clubs, rehearsals, and performances.
- Contribute to whole-school events such as assemblies and productions.
- Monitor and manage music resources, instruments, and equipment.
- Stay up to date with developments in music education and teaching practices.
