We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Music to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Pudsey, starting in September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering the opportunity to inspire students through a knowledge-rich, engaging curriculum that fosters creativity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Prepare students for performance-based and written assessments, including GCSE Music.
- Use varied teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
- Encourage a love for music and active participation in musical activities across the school.
- Take part in curriculum development, extracurricular events, and trips.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and CPD opportunities.
- Support the inclusive and aspirational ethos of the school community.
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Music and a good understanding of the National Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience using technology in the music classroom.
- Ability to lead or support extracurricular ensembles, choirs or music productions.
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to equity and opportunity.
