About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Female PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Leeds for a temporary role over 9 days across two weeks. While the primary focus is on Physical Education, the timetable includes teaching other subjects, with pre-prepared work provided. You'll also take on some general cover responsibilities.

Week A: 4 days (Monday - Thursday) ...

Week B: 5 days (Monday - Friday)

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons.
Inspire students to develop a love for physical activity.
Cover lessons in other subjects with pre-prepared materials.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Supervise students during non-teaching times as required.
Encourage teamwork and sportsmanship among students.
Assist in the planning of PE assessments and activities.
Promote health and well-being through active participation in PE.
Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding.
Be a positive role model for students.
