The Role
This is a full-time role to teach Physics to Key Stage 3 and some Key Stage 4 students, covering an absence on a phased return. The position will require a balance of delivering high-quality Physics lessons and undertaking occasional general cover duties. You will play a critical role in supporting student's progress and maintaining high standards in the classroom.

Contract: Full time
Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates considered)
Essential Requirements:
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Proven experience in planning, delivering, and marking lessons.
Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Proficiency in assessing and tracking student progress.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Creativity in lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lesson plans.
- Mark and assess student work in line with school policies.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Undertake general cover duties across other subjects when required.
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum.
- Utilise various teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
