We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a vibrant secondary school in Bradford. This is a full-time position, starting ASAP, and offers the chance to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Requirements:
- QTS/PGCE in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5)
- Plan, mark, and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support student progress
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
- Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
