Essential Requirements:
... - Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/PGCE) and experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan. prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Teach core principles of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, adapting lessons to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Conduct practical experiments in line with safety protocols, creating a hands-on learning experience.
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom atmosphere, promoting respect and discipline.
- Assess student progress through tests and coursework, offering constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and guardians to support students' development.
- Inspire students to explore Science beyond the classroom through projects, research, and extracurricular activities.
- Differentiate the students work based on ability levels
- Formative and summative assessment
