About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving and innovative Science department as a Teacher of Science on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2025. The academy is looking for an outstanding, committed, and motivated teacher to contribute to the ongoing development of teaching, learning, and curriculum provision. Your New Role
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience)

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote curiosity and deep understanding
Plan and assess effectively to ensure high levels of progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where all students feel safe to succeed
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, trips and enrichment opportunities
Support curriculum development and collaborative planning within the Science team
Take part in CPD and staff development opportunities offered through the academy and trust
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Has a sound understanding of the Science National Curriculum
- Is a reflective and resilient practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement
- Has high expectations of themselves and their students
- Brings energy, creativity, and a growth mindset to their teaching
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit, supportive team
