Randstad Education is seeking a Religious Education and Social Sciences Teacher. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive, stimulating learning environment and share the high expectations of achievement for all students. You will teach RE and sociology to the students of our client school.

Requirements
- QTS/QTLS/PGCE is essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum
- A proven record of successful teaching in an 11-16 school
- A proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in an 11-16 school
- Good Subject Knowledge of Social Sciences and Religious Education(RE)
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic RE and Sociology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- The ability to interest, encourage and engage students
- Secure high standards of behaviour
- Understanding of effective strategies for maintaining high standards of discipline within the classroom
- Enable students to develop the skills to work independently and collaboratively
