We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Spanish Teacher to join a secondary school in Bradford. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will play a pivotal role in fostering student's interest in the Spanish language, developing their communication skills.

Contract: Long-term (potential for permanent contract for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)

Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Skills

Fluency in Spanish and strong communication skills in English.
Effective lesson planning with a creative approach.
Adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Organisational skills to manage workload efficiently.
Team collaboration to contribute positively to the school community.
Empathy and patience to support and encourage students.
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to sharing ideas and resources.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students of varying abilities
Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and school objectives
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning
Offer support to those who require extra assistance or challenge
Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences
Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities
Participate in department meetings, sharing best practices and contributing to the ongoing development of the Spanish curriculum.
