About the Role:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be supporting classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide tailored assistance to students. Your role will be varied, helping to ensure that children of all abilities receive the support they need to thrive in the classroom. Whether it's one-on-one support for individual students or assisting in group activities, you will play a key role in promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities across various subjects.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children who need extra help with their learning.
- Help to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) or other learning needs.
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring that students are on task and engaged.
- Support the teacher with administrative tasks, including setting up resources and preparing materials.
- Foster a positive relationship with students, offering encouragement and motivation to help them reach their potential.
