Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 3 students with SEMH, ASD, and sensory needs. You will play a key role in ensuring that each student receives tailored support to thrive in all subject areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support in all subjects.
- Assist students with SEMH, ASD, and sensory needs, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Help students regulate their emotions and manage behaviours.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to create and implement personalised learning plans.
- Support students' social and emotional development in a structured environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEMH, ASD, and sensory needs.
- Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach to student support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
- Patience, resilience, and a calm, nurturing attitude.
