school in LS9. The successful candidate will be working within Key Stage 1 and will play a crucial role in
supporting the teaching and learning activities in the classroom.
This role is to start in May on a full-time basis until December 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
● Assist with the planning and preparation of learning materials.
● Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives.
● Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
● Contribute to the development of student's social and emotional well-being.
● Assist with the assessment and tracking of student's progress.
Requirements:
● Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
● Previous experience working in a similar role, particularly within KS1.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
● A patient and adaptable approach to working in a school environment.
