Are you seeking a fresh opportunity for the new academic year?
Do you want to be remembered for years to come for helping to make learning accessible to all children?
Do you want a position where you can make a difference and where no 2 days will ever be the same?
Be the guiding force for students with special educational needs! We are recruiting a passionate and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to contribute to this inspiring school's culture of support and inclusion
This specialist school is looking for Teaching Assistants to join their inclusive and creative setting. This is a full time, long term position, dedicated to supporting students on a 1:1 basis. The role is exclusively term time only, with required hours from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
With small classes, a minimum of 3 staff and a maximum of 10 students, this school ensures that the focus is always tailored to the individual. Students primarily have communication and interaction difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that create barriers to learning.
As a Teaching Assistant, you may be working 1:1 with a student, or with a small group of students. Work takes place in the classroom, but also outside, around the school, making the most of the facilities on offer. Whether you are assisting younger children or older students, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in their lives, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
