Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work with students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism. You will collaborate with experienced teachers to provide classroom support, while also engaging students in outdoor activities like Bushcraft and life skills. Your contribution will be key in helping students achieve their academic and personal growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support while ensuring students' safety and well-being.
- Assist students in progressing towards their Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP) goals.
- Implement positive behavior management strategies based on individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and health and safety issues.
- Promote teamwork and positive social interactions among students.

- Have basic numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
