We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our exceptional school in Cranleigh, Surrey. About Us:

- Dedicated 1:1 Support: Every student receives 1:1 support, with dedicated assistants who work closely with the class teacher and provide personalized tutoring based on individual needs.
- A Safe and Structured Environment: We use a traffic light system to ensure everyone is aware of the situation in each corridor, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Exceptional Facilities: We provide a rich and engaging learning environment, featuring trampolines, yoga rooms, sensory rooms attached to each classroom, and excellent resources, including a kitchen, IT suite, gym, and DT suite.
What You'll Do:
- Provide support to students in the classroom: Assist teachers with lessons, provide individualised support, and help create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher: Work closely with the teacher to implement personalized learning plans and ensure each student's needs are met.
- Support students with a range of needs: Provide help with activities, behaviour management, and personal care as required.
- Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere: Promote a sense of safety, belonging, and well-being.
- Learn and grow: We are committed to ongoing professional development and will support you with training and qualifications, including QTS and HLTA opportunities.
Ideal Candidates:
- Have a genuine passion for working with children with autism spectrum conditions.
- Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting learners.
- Have experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (desirable).
- Have experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable).
- Have experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable).
Benefits:
* Term-time only contract.
* Competitive salary: £19,000 per year, rising to £20,500 after 2 years of successful service as a Senior TA.
* Opportunity to work in the care setting for 16 hours per week during school holidays, adding an additional £2,000 to your salary after 6 months.

Essential Requirements:
* A valid DBS check.
* A full driving licence (preferred).
We are flexible on experience level and are willing to consider candidates with no previous experience in care or education. We welcome applications for both part-time and full-time positions, with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week.
Please note: No GCSE in English and Maths are required.
