Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with students, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experiences. Your contributions will help create an engaging and inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist teachers in the planning and implementation of lessons and activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to educators and parents.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their confidence and independence.
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A relevant qualification in special education or child development is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to adapt to varying needs and situations.
