We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic schools in Selby, where we provide tailored support for children. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized support and guidance to students, helping them thrive in their educational journey.This role is a part time job position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the life of a student.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to assist in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the needs of students.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and respected.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the well-being of all students at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
