Your responsibilities will include:

• Teach all areas of the primary curriculum
• Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
• Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a
• positive learning environment.
• Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher, planning, prepare and present
• lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
• Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the
• children
• Working with small groups and 1:1
• Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:

• Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
• Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
• 2 recent professional references
• Experience with behaviours that are challenging
• A calm & caring personality
• A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupil's development
• Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
• Team Teach trained - or willing to attend training
