We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Services Manager to lead a hard services team in a prestigious retail setting in Nottingham. What you'll be doing:
- Leading and motivating a team: You will manage and inspire a team of skilled engineers, ensuring their efficient delivery of services and fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensuring operational excellence: You will oversee all aspects of hard services, including maintenance, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive work.
- Maintaining a safe and compliant environment: You will be responsible for implementing and upholding high safety standards, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Building strong client relationships: You will be the primary point of contact for our client, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded through proactive communication and clear service reporting.
- Driving continuous improvement: You will continually assess and identify opportunities to optimize service delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest quality standards.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience managing hard services teams within a large facilities management company.
- Strong technical expertise in building services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering exceptional service.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A commitment to safety and compliance, with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations.
