We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced traffic marshall to join our team on a long-term contract at a major commercial site in the heart of Huddersfield. This is a crucial role for ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the site, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to contribute to the success of this exciting project.
Responsibilities:
... - Implement and maintain traffic management plans on site, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Direct and control vehicle movements, pedestrian flow, and site access.
- Conduct thorough security checks on all vehicles and personnel entering the site.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, visitors, and contractors.
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records.
Skills / Experience:
- Previous experience as a traffic marshall on large-scale construction or commercial sites.
- Valid traffic marshall qualification.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and handle difficult situations effectively.
- Experience with security protocols and procedures is highly advantageous.
- Ability to pass equivalent to an enhanced DBS.
