Our Unique Trainee Teacher Programme:

• Two-Year Programme: This is a rewarding two-year training programme that will equip you with the skills and qualifications needed to become a successful SEN teacher.
• Hands-On Experience: You'll start as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, providing individualized support to learners, gaining valuable experience and developing your skills.
• Professional Development: You will work towards your Level 3 TA qualification, and then qualify as a HLTA. You will then be trained as a Level 1 ABA teacher - all qualifications are completed onsite.
• Career Progression: After the programme, there are opportunities to develop further and gain QTS if desired.

Ideal Candidates:

• Have a genuine passion for working with children and young adults with special educational needs.
• Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting learners.
• Have experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (minimum 6 months).
• Have a strong understanding of the importance of individualised learning plans and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
• Are comfortable working with students who may exhibit challenging behaviour.
• Have experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable).
• Have experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable).
