School Overview: Opened 40 years ago - this school offers dual teaching with students working towards US or Saudi diplomas. The school is also IB PYP and MYP authorised and hosts 2000 students taught by over 200 teaching staff - of which 20% are international expat staff. The schools are separated in to Boys and Girls' schools and as per Saudi law - Males can teach in the Boys school and females in the Girls. Facilities are good and the staff are tight knit.

A small city originally created for the families and staff of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (ARAMCO) it's been purpose built to ensure its residents feel as comfortable as possible. Dhahran and Saudi itself is developing facilities at a rapid pace with western style amenities popping up as the country develops fast - further facilities can be found in nearby Khobar - 15km away.
Requirements:
- Teachers should have 2+ years of post-qualifying experience
- Teaching subject must match your degree subject (Ministry rules).
- Whilst US and/or IB experience is desirable - other transferable curriculum experience will be considered
- international or EAL experience an advantage.
- The academic staff is selected for their genuine interest in their subject and the ability to convey that interest to students and raise expectations for success.
- Resilience and self sufficiency is considered an attribute in terms of location adaptation.
Package:
- A competitive salary package from $43,000 USD to $50,500 USD tax free dependent upon experience and qualifications
- Furnished Accommodation provided with paid utilities and internet
- Annual flight ticket and Health insurance for employee and eligible dependents
- 50% discount on up to 3 children (school is bilingual and so child must be fluent in Arabic and English)
- Visa costs for employee only
- Multi exit visa upgrade provided for employee and dependents
- Settling in and partial shipping allowance
- Interest free car loan
